In the spring, the President of the Family Division gave his view of the impact of covid in the family courts.
He has acknowledged that the family courts have, and to some extent still are, backlogged meaning delays for all those involved in litigation. He also appreciates the impact this is having on family solicitors noting that their cases may not be increasing but their ability to resolve matters can be hindered.
