UK Home Secretary Priti Patel has recently announced the governments new plan to tackle domestic abuse.
In 2021 over 2.3 million people across England and Wales experienced some form of domestic abuse the government has announced its plan to tackle this. The new plan involves Pursuing perpetrators, prioritising prevention, supporting victims and improving the system.
