If the family have agreed your brother can have sole ownership of the house, then the terms of your late mother’s will can in certain circumstances be varied to effect this change and the house is transferred to him as part of the administration of the estate. If, however, your brother is buying out your share of the property then we can do a transfer of equity between the two of you. It is similar to a sale and purchase where you and your brother are sellers and your brother the buyer.
